Banduras cry about the innocent fallen during Holodomor

Wide species of cooperation between the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks and Estonian militarized voluntary patriotic organization Kaitseliit and Association of the Ukrainian organizations in Estonia are opened by official visit of the heads of these organizations to Ukraine.

Delegation which arrived to Kiev: adviser of the Minister of Defence of Estonia, lieutenant general of Defence Forces of Estonia Johanes Kert, chief of the staff of Southern division Kaitseliit Naur Kalev, major Arno Kodu, president of Association of the Ukrainian organizations in Estonia Vladimir Palamar, URC nakaznoi hetman in the Baltic States Andrey Gritskov.

Guests in the airport Borispol were met by the representatives of embassy of Estonia in Ukraine headed by deputy ambassador Kurt Mertis, chief of the URC general staff Valery Blidar, ataman of the URC Kiev city organization Vyacheslav Tarasov.

The program of visit: acquaintance with work of the URC General staff and URC regional organizations, meetings with representatives of authority, public, cultural and religious figures.

The Estonian delegation took part in the official events devoted to the 76th anniversary of Holodomor in Ukraine. As a sign of memory honour of millions of the Ukrainians fallen during hunger in 1932 - 1933, all victims of political reprisals, representatives of Estonia who as the first recognized Holodomor in Ukraine as a genocide of the Ukrainian people, lied a wreath on a monument on the Kiev hills.

Having visited his grave in Kanev, guests from Estonia honoured a memory of the Great Ukrainian poet, Taras Grigorievich Shevchenko.

As Johanes Kert said, understanding and cooperation are impossible without respect to history, people genes and language.

In Cherkassy there was held the meeting with the deputy head of the Cherkassy state regional administration Anatoly Chaban who told about the Region and its prospects.

Ataman and chief of the staff in Cherkassy regional organization Boris Marchenko and Alexander Zhurba acquainted our honoured guests with work of Registered Cossacks in the Cherkassy Region. Then they visited museum of Kobzar, after all anything can tell about the people, as their literature and culture.
