The Ivano-Frankovsk regional society of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks considers that state creation or genesis is, first of all, education of national deliberate, educated, spiritual youth. Therefore carrying out of educational actions, cooperation with secondary schools and higher educational institutions, youth’s involving into the Cossacks work is the important task of Registered Cossacks.

They signed cooperation agreement with the URC Ivano-Frankovsk regional and city societies and the Ivano-Frankovsk municipal science and education government. This agreement bears the signatures of commander of the URC Prikarpatsky district, URC colonel general Vasily Griniv and head of education department Michael Veres according to this agreement they plan carrying out of the events directed on education of youth, creation of Cossack school republics, as patriotism centers. Michael Veres has noticed, that within these events they also plan carrying out of the conferences, lessons devoted to memorials, ethnographic expeditions, meetings with victims of political repression, Ukrainian rebel army soldiers etc. Registered Cossacks already actively join carrying out of these events, after all the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks have signed several years ago the cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and already have a considerable operational experience with youth.

There is also one more agreement signed between the URC Prikarpatsky district and the Youth patriotic education center named after Stepan Bandera newly opened in Ivano-Frankovsk. As Galina Savchenko, director of the Center said, the pupils take willingly part in the events, open lessons "I am a citizen", "Light a candle" (on the occasion of Holodomor’s anniversary 1932-1933), devoted Sobornost Day of Ukraine, round table talks, meetings with known people, fighters for independence of Ukraine.

To the first joint event of the Patriotic education center and the URC Prikarpatsky district is a holiday for youth "Cossack generation will live forever" gathered directors of schools, heads of the curriculum department, and pupils from different schools of the city. That day a lot of boys and girls from schools № 12 and 45 joined Registered Cossacks.

The dedication ceremony began after the pray. They solemnly take an oath to be to serve to the Ukrainian people and Cossacks. Encouragements words of Cossack foremen, Vasily Griniv, Peter Kirillov, Mikhail Popukh, Bogdan Prokopyshak, Bogdan Kuziv and young cossacks kiss the flag of Ukraine and Cossack standard.
