Recently in the city of Turka there took place a great event devoted to the lyceum students consecration into Cossacks. Lyceum students marched from their educational institution through the city centre to St. Peter and Paul Church where Father Taras served Liturgy, and then, having sworn on the Bible, 50 young men and, of course, teachers of lyceum joined the URC city organization. All of them swore to be true sons of our Mother Ukraine and true friends to Cossacks and Bereguinias.

Consecration into Cossacks in the church in the city of Turka

At the beginning of December in the city of Rudki of the Samborsky District people celebrated a similar holiday, 350 students and some teachers from on the basis of the former Drogobychesky Agricultural Technical School (now Vyshnya College) joined URC. These young people swore willfully to respect and defend immemorial values of the Ukrainian people: spirituality, patriotism, love to the God and people, and also on a personal example, activities and own words to promote revival and respect to the Cossacks.

First of all in the crowed St. Evkharistiya Church Father Bogdan served a solemn moleben, and then joined Cossacks as a city chaplain. Taras Kirillo head of Rudki URC major followed his spiritual instructor.

After consecration heads of the educational institution welcomed the youth, and then the celebratory concert took place. After that, URC Bereguinia Marianna Rap addressed to the Registered Cossacks from Drogobych.
