On October 12 2005 in connection of beginning of the month of Ramadan the Spiritual head office of Moslems of Ukraine, headed by Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Talim, carried out a festive activity, called Iftar, in the hall of the President-hotel "Kievski" ( c. Kyiv).

Leaders and representatives of Moslem communities of Ukraine, representative of the embassies and councils, which are accredited in Ukraine, and also representatives of government bodies and administration of the President of Ukraine were invited to the festival.

The General Judge of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks, leader of the Center of Religious Investigations and International Spiritual Relations with the Donetsk State Institute of Artificial Intelligence Igor Anatolievich Kozlovski was among those who were invited to the festival. On behalf of Hetman of the URC, rector of the DonSIAI Anatoli Ivanovich Shevchenko and on behalf of himself he congratulated Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Akhmed Talim, and the whole of the Spiritual leadership of Moslems of Ukraine in his face, all the Moslems of Ukraine, on their Pious month of Ramadan.
