Today our state doesn’t pay any attention to the force, which takes care of regeneration of traditions, spirituality, patriotism, glory and honor of the Ukrainian people. That is why two main Cossack organizations have taken the responsibility for this work upon themselves.

At present 25 Cossack organizations with all-Ukrainian and international status have been registered in Ukraine. A study, carried out by the URC researchers, testifies to the fact that amalgamation of all Cossack organization into one is impossible and not reasonable. Amalgamation is necessary. Rada of Ukrainian Cossacks, attached to the President of Ukraine, which is supposed to work towards consolidation of all the Cossack movement, has been created, but its being inactive is working towards separation among the Cossack movement, which can result into a loss of Cossack idea in Ukraine.
