I am congratulating you on a great holiday - Day of Ukrainian Cossacks!
There are a lot of glorious pages in the history of Ukraine, but the history of Cossacks is the most glorious. It is from the living source of the historical Truth about Cossacks that today we are proud of Cossack valor and persistence, we are proud of Cossack night-like honesty and readiness to sacrifice. Out the temple of our Christian souls we are swearing in loyalty to our Ukraine , to the Bible written for centuries, to historic holiness.
The activity of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks today is a search for effective ways of strengthening spirituality, morality of our people, preservation and regeneration of national memorials, molding new generations, educated on patriotic traditions of the Ukrainian people, national elite, educated in all the spheres of social culture, capable to influence positively on spiritual condition of our society.
We are aware that the real core of a civilized, conscious society is the force of kindness, humanism, faith in man and his great predestination, regeneration of spirituality, historic and patriotic traditions of our people.
Congratulating you all today on this great holiday, which lays upon us a great responsibility, I am wishing all of you happiness, prosperity and good health, I wish you all have strength enough to take the Ukrainian people out of half-forgetness of the greatness of the nation which has been recognized all over the world. The nation who has created one of greatest armies of the world, Cossack army, has the right to be great and really independent.
I am asking the Lord to bless you all and to reward your fruitful work on the field of development of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks.
