On August 16, 2005 in the city Sevastopol, in the park after T.G.Shevchenko, there was held an international festival of All-Ukrainian Cossack song "Crimean Tulumbasy" which started in the city Armyansk.

The festival was opened by the head of the Gagarin district state administration of the city Sevastopol, Major General of the URC Bogdan Ivanovich Vuiko.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks and the All-Ukrainian Party of Spirituality and Patriotism of the cities Sevastopol, Simferopol, Armyansk laid flowers to the monument of the great Kobzar Taras Shevchenko with the accompaniment of the song " The Broad Dnipr Roars and Moans".

The following took part in the festival: the director of the theater "Spiritual and Patriotic Song", Honored Artist of Ukraine, Colonel Gennadi Shevchenko, ensemble of Cossack Song "Lazorevy Flower" of the Volgograd regional philharmonic society (artistic leader: Gennadi Sipotenko), ensemble of song and dance of the VMVSU ( leader - Honored Worker of Culture of the ARC, Honored worker of Arts of Ukraine, Major General Alexandr Gorshkov).

At the end of the festival the creative groups received diplomas of Honor of the Gagarin district state administration of Sevastopol.
