People join URC Cossacks
In Evpatoria, the city of the Autonomous Republic Crimea there was held a dedication ceremony into Cossacks. The ceremony was held in one of the oldest temples of Crimea, the church of St. Nicolai Chudotvorets.
This choice is no coincidence. The church, consecrated in the name of St. Nicolai, is on the seafront of Evpatoria. According to history of Crimea, near from church there has begun a building of a new part of the city. Thereby it is symbolical, that the dedication ceremony into Cossacks was held in such sacred place.
This day there were dedicated: a new ataman of the Evpatoria city Cossack organisation Victor Selivanov, ataman of the new Cossack organisation of Razdolnensky district of the URC Crimean organisation Alexey Nazarov, URC main ataman’s adviser concerning SME development Alexander Nesterenko, URC main ataman’s adviser concerning work with public and international organisations Boris Nazarov. It will favour the development of business on the basis of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks and will strengthen relations with other public organisations.
The dedication ceremony into Cossacks, according to Cossack ritual, began with a solemn formation. The chief of URC staff URC major general Sergey Busalaev ordered the dedication ritual. The chief of medical service of the Black Sea district URC colonel general Nikolay Sysoyev heard the oath text, and then new Cossacks bent the knee, after that - ritual with a saber, flag of Ukraine and URC banner. Father Eugenie, their pastor and rural dean in the churches in the Evpatoria district, blest and sprinkled new Cossacks with sacred water on a long and worthy service to the Ukrainian people and URC.
The celebration finished with Cossack kulesh according to the Cossack traditions.
