Delivering order “Silver Cossack Cross” of Ii grade to the URC Hetman Adviser Major-General Boris Adamov

“… in face of our Omnipotent I am swearing an oath to Cossack community and Mother Ukraine, that I will be a patriot of Ukraine, I promise to increase the traditions of glorious Cossacks of Ukraine, to be a faithful friend to brother-Cossacks, to be a loyal son of Ukraine’.

These words, sacred for every Registered Cossack, have been pronounced at Donetsk regional state administration by its head Boris Adamov, who has been initiated to the URC Cossacks by hetman of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks, Corresponding Member of the Ukrainian NAS of science, Ph. Doctor of technical Science, Ph. Doctor of Theology, rector of the DonSIAI, Full Professor Anatoli Shevchenko in the way of the traditional ritual of initiation to Cossacks. “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Ukrainian registered Cossacks!”, sounded as an answer.

The URC Hetman Deputy, Lieutenant-Colonel Guennadi Domashenko announced the order of hetman on accepting Head Deputy of Donetsk regional state administration Boris Isaevich Adamov to the URC ranks and his being appointed the URC Hetman Advisor on organizational and social - political problems. Boris Isaevich Adamov has been conferred the military rank of major-general of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks.

Ritual of initiation to Cossacks

For his weighty contribution to the cause of regeneration of historic, spiritual and patriotic traditions of the Ukrainian people the URC hetman Anatili Shevchenko has awarded head deputy of Donetsk state regional administration, the URC Hetman Adviser Boris Adamov a sign of honor of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks “Silver Cossack Cross” of the II grade, which has also been noted with honor of Cossack customs.

"To stand for eternal values of our people: spirituality, patriotism, love to God, love towards man and everything living, to respect parents, to fulfill the Laws of Ukraine,- Boris Adamov said,_ has always been the platform of my personal life, but since now am going to confess these ideas as a registered Cossack and to propagate and spread them from the position of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks. I am swearing the oath in face of God and all our Cossack organization!”

The following known figures took part in the solemn initiation of head Deputy of Donetsk state regional administration Boris Adamov into the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks; the URC Bereguinya, head of Voroshilovski district council of c. Donetsk Nina Khokhlova, the URC hetman deputy Lieutenant-Colonel Valentina Semyonova and others, who presented bright flowers to the author of the solemn ceremony. Registered Cossack Guennadi Shevchenko performed a song for the URC Major-General Boris Adamov called “Song about Mother’.
