The party which must unite the whole Cossacks was blessed on its way to the future by 117 delegates in famous land of Khersones covered with baptizing glory of prince Vladimir the great. Actually, the Ukrainian Cossack party has already begun to fulfil this mission: 24 regions of country including Kiev and Sevastopol were represented at Constitutive congress.

The Ukrainian party of spiritually and patriotism chairman, the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks Hetman Anatoliy Shevchenko took part in the meeting on initiative group invitation. He noted that Cossacks enlarged all over Ukraine, but Cossack idea realization needed representation in the authorities. L.e. creation of party with Cossack members in majority gives opportunity to vote for election authorities, form a block with other parties. The Ukrainian party of spirituality and patriotism gathered scientific, intellectual, spiritual elite under its flag. And the Ukrainian Cossack party unites Cossacks, those who are fond of Cossacks, who believe in Cossack democracy power.

The idea of Cossack party creation has been discussed long ago but there were particularly the Ukrainian public organization “The Ukrainian Registered Cossacks” representatives who could implement it. The Registered Cossacks took initiative in their hands in order to create the force that could really influence the Ukrainian people well-being increase.

Regional representatives told about timeliness to the Ukrainian Cossack party creation, its prospects and tasks. As the URC ordered Hetman, the URC main ataman in Crimea Anatoliy Franchuk noted, it was necessary for Cossacks to gather mind, force and will together and consolidate the potential of their lines in order to represent and realize Cossack idea in all levels of power.

The probable question of other Cossack formations representatives: “Why did the Registered Cossacks particularly call their party ‘The Ukrainian’?” was answered by the URC Lugansk regional organization chairman Viktor Dorokhov: “Only our organization has got representation in each region. That’s why we can become clear at once who will head our election head-quarters, who will lead the party to local election.”

In the URC Galitskyi district headquarters commander Vasilyi Pavlechko opinion, Cossack party has got great prospects, because memory of glorious Cossack past will appear on genetic level at every ordinary voter, he will remember about Hetman’s Ukraine and give his vote for its revival. That’s why the party needs active attraction of young people who think promisingly and live in future.

Continuing this thought the URC Hetman’s adviser on political questions Zinovyi Zhovnir offered to create the Ukrainian Cossack party young people’s organization. The URC East-Ukrainian district commander Mikhail Dubrovksyi offered to create the creative group which would study analytically attitude to modern Cossacks, requests and expectations of the society, formulate proposals and initiatives that would be basic for the Ukrainian Cossack party Program creation and with which Cossacks would come to people.

The URC Severovolynksyi Cossack district commander Vladimir Tsymbalyuk offered to push the Ukrainian Cossack party activity towards studying of each region peculiarities, activity on revival of love to Ukraine and our nation, up-bringing the pride of belonging to Ukrainians among young people.

The URC Chernomorksyi district commander Anatlyi Zhernovoy, Odessa Cossacks head Sergei Elistratov, “Cossack Ukraine” new-paper main editor replacement Vasilyi Gumenyuk told in their speeches about purpose of new party to become the uniting force for all Cossacks, all people of Ukraine.

The URC Patroness in Sevastopol Olga Sytyuk is sure that Cossack party will really become national one and will take care of not only Cossacks, but also all Ukrainians. Political Council members elected at Constitutive congress are called to implement ideology of the party.

In the course of discussing initiative on the Ukrainian Cossacks party creation the URC ataman in Ternopol Region Ivan Komarnitskyi wished like-minded persons to form and raise party leader’s authority from the first day.

Bogdan Vuiko was elected the Ukrainian Cossack party chairman by Constitutive congress. This man’s famous as an active enlightener, president of T.G. Shevchenko’s Foundation thanks to whose activity there’re already three monuments to great Kobzar in Crimea. The URC general-lieutenant Bogdan Ivanovich Vuiko headed Gagarinkskaya district state administration in Sevastopol in 2005-2006, voted for two times in Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine in 2007 by the list of election block “Our Ukraine-National Self-defence”.

“Cossacks particularly were at the beginning of the Ukrainian state and it depends on us at the moment whether we distance ourselves from Cossacks folklore condition and create our own political force of European model, - Bogdan Vuiko said. – I’m sure, we’ve got the power, opportunities and potential we need for struggle of legislative authorities representation. We will cooperate with the Ukrainian party of spirituality and patriotism and other right-wing oriented parties in it”.

After the congress there was signed Cooperation Agreement between the Ukrainian party of spirituality and patriotism and the Ukrainian Cossack party according to which both parties would unite their efforts for participation in the election process and create political block on the next election.
