Representatives of the Donetsk State Institute of Artificial Intelligence have distinguished themselves again on sports grounds of the minors' capital. The team "Cossacks' has won a sure victory on the military sports tournament, devoted to the memory of a soldier of Afghanistan Oleg Medvedev and to the Day to Defender of the Motherland.

This really wonderful sports festival has taken place in the assemble hall of the Donetsk Electrical Metallurgical Technical School, which the courageous warrior Oleg Medvedev finished. He has fulfilled his international duty in a remote country in a worthy way and hasn't failed the dignity of a citizen of a great country and the honored right to be called a "citizen of Donbass".

Teachers of the department of Physical Training and Sports of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence , Colonels of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks Anatoli Ganzyuk, Aleksandr Strashnoi, Aleksandr Stepanenko for a long time and very thoroughly selected the members of the team "Cossacks", of course, out of the students URC Cossack regiment. The title of the captain was presented to an experienced and skilled sportsman, a five year students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Science Serguei Ismaguilov.

Colonel of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks Aleksandr Strashnoi told," The team "Cossacks" of the Donetsk State Institute of Artificial Intelligence was made up of 11 sportsmen. Plus an aerobics team, headed by Bereguinya of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks Elizaveta Lesovaya and by Senior Lieutenant of the URC Dina Izotina. This team was made up by six DonSIAI students: Elizaveta Lesovaya, Victoria Rudneva, Oksana Tur, Lilia Kuzina, Valeria Vasilieva, Elena Umrikhina. They simply shocked everybody present by their dynamics and beauty".

At the same time teams of the technical school were fighting for the memorable prize after Oleg Medvedev: "Cossacks", "Steel Founders", "Millmen", "Mechanics", who were worthy rivals.

"We knew that the fighting would be intensive,- continued the URC Colonel, teacher of the department of Physical Training and Sports of the DonSIAI Anatoli Ganzyuk,- That is why, together with the head of the department, Donetsk Regional Ataman, the URC Major-General Victor Stolyar, thoroughly selected members of the team. And, actually, we haven't been mistaken".

To be sure! What is the performance of the weight-lifter Dmitri Marienko worth of? He has lifted two weights, each of 1 pood, for 70 times! He has proved that the specialty "Automated Systems Software" at the faculty of Modern Computer Information Technologies is being mastered not by feeble know-alls, but strong, very strong young men. Of course, he has taken the first place! Pavel Abakumov, from the faculty of Philosophy and Religious Science has also made everybody happy with his first place. He was the first in tightening on a horizontal bar - 24 times!

Captain of the team "Cossacks" Serguei Ismailov and Andrei Antsybulin, Dmitri Verkhoglyad won a victory in a football relay-race and received firm T-shirts from the football club "Metallurgist" (Donetsk).

The team "Cossacks" has also won a military sports relay-race. They skillfully bandaged "wounded", carried "mines", fulfilled accurately and consistently a lot of exercises.

The whole team took part in overbalancing a rope. It happened so that they didn't have time for rest, but still they won over "Steel Founders", "Millmen", "Mechanics" and sportsmen of the technical school. The Cossacks have shown their really Cossack-like character and have won a victory!

Captain of the team Serguei Ismaguilov thanked out of the depth of his heart Mikhail malezhik, Artur Artyukov, Mikhail Terekhov, Aleksandr Galuizov, Evgueni Kurakin, Artyom Kobylenko - all the members of the combined sports group of Cossack students for accuracy and consistency, their dedication to the cause, aspiration to victory. It was very pleasant to hear the decision of the panel of judges to present the first general-command place in the sports military tournament, devoted to the memory of Afghanistan soldier Oleg Medvedev and to Day of Defender of the Motherland, to the team of the Donetsk State Institute of Artificial Intelligence, where the rector is a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Full Professor Anatoli Shevchenko.

"Cossacks" have also been presented with a lot of certificates of honor for victories in various kinds of competitions, a Certificate of Honor of the Committee on Problems of Physical Culture and Sports of Donetsk City Council and a transition cup.

The team "Cossacks" of the first students Cossack regiment of the URC and Ataman of the Donetsk regional social organization URC, the URC Major-General Stolyar V.V. are expressing their thank you to the organizers of the festival, presented by the head of the department of Physical training of the Donetsk Electric Metallurgical Technical School Zadorozhni Nikolai Fyodorovich.
