The ordinary number of the forum of the Ukrainian Party of Spirituality and Patriotism itself promised unconditional success. This is the first. The second is: it was the place of conducting the congress - island Khortitsa on the Dneper, in Zaporozhie, which put the foundation of its fruitfulness. As Byzantium Emperor Konstantin the VII Bagryanorodny pointed out, the island Khortitsa was a powerful sacred place and it was worthy of being worshipped. That is why the Ukrainian Cossacks have chosen it as their motherland and settled on this really sacred place of wonderful beauty, which is specially created for warriors.

Steep rocks the Twins, Two Brothers, Two Hays, which stretch from the North and from the West, picturesque ravines Savutina, Karakaika, Lipovaya, Shrokaya, tracks of the Vyrva, lakes the Prognoi and the Domakha please one's eyes. Behind the flux there used to be Veliki (Great) Meadow (Lug), which the Cossacks called "batko" (father). It's true that during the years of five-year plans it was flooded, the same as the Dneprovski Porogui.

The Cossacks were wise. The first Ukrainian hetman Dmitri Baida-Vishnevetski, who founded the Zaporozhskaya Sech in this sacred place, had an unusual aura.

This aura was also felt in the work of the VII APSP Congress. Delegates from 22 regional party organizations, regional structures of the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea, city organizations of Kiev, Sevastopol, representatives of broad society, in one word, those people, who unite the nations - from the east to the West, from the North to the South, so that the nation didn't perish.

This was the theses on which the Leader of the All-Ukrainian Party of Spirituality and Patriotism, Hetman of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and technique, Ph. Doctor of Theology, Ph. Doctor of Technical Science, rector of the Donetsk State Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Full professor Anatoli Shevchenko concentrated his attention. He opened the forum, made opening report and the concluding speech. The congress elected Presidium which included Anatoli Shevchenko, Head of the Donetsk regional APSP organization Victor Timchenko, Head of the Sevastopol regional party organization Anatoli Zhernovoi, Head of the Ternopol regional party Ivan Komarnitski, Head of the Lvov regional APSP organization Vasili Pavlechko. The latter was the one who was conducting the VII the Congress of the APSP. Credentials Committee, a returning committee, a drafting committee, secretariat of the congress. The agenda of the congress included the item:

1. Discussing the problem of changing the name of the All-Ukrainian Party of Spirituality and Patriotism.

2. Approval of amendments in the Statute

3. Approval of the plan of giving out party-membership cards.

4. Approval of the list of new members of the Political Rada (Council).

5. Approval of Appeal to the Ukrainian people.

6. Miscellaneous.

The APSP leader Anatoli Shevchenko estimated the socio-economic situation, which had been created in Ukraine. He laid the emphasis on availability of an economic crisis in the representative body of our state. It was naturally that a question arose: where was the way out of the crisis? What were the challenges and priorities of the time? Anatoli Shevchenko underlined, " Every party member who is to be an example of spirituality and patriotism, must be able to work with any kind of audience, with all the layers of the society - the young, with people of older generation, he must consider himself to be responsible for them in the East and in the West."

Integration of the Ukrainian people- is pleasant for the Lord! Every member of the APSP is responsible for elimination of dissensions between the East and the West! We have only one Ukraine!

"This is the most important task of the APSP at present!" - the party leader pointed out. "We are to exchange delegations. For example a Donetsk delegation could visit Lvov region and take some experience of the local organization and vice versa. We have such an experience in different spheres: those of culture, education, science. It is necessary to create enterprises in which citizens of both the East and the west would be interested. Every regional party organization should have its own radio and television broadcast, as they have an example in the Donetsk regional television and radio company "Spiritual Landing Place" (20 minutes on radio) and "Cossack Landing Place" (40 minutes on TV).

And, of course on getting ready for the coming elections. It's not a secret that the previous election race was not successful for the APSP, though all the Cossack structures took part in them.

"It is necessary to enhance the prestige of our party", the APSP leader Anatoli Shevchenko underlined.

The APSP is well-known beyond the borders of Ukraine. Its delegations have visited the Vatican, Istanbul, Moscow where they met with spiritual leaders. Recently the Leader of the Party had a talk with the Principal Rabat of Ukraine Izrael Khaikin and received an invitation to visit Israel. This visit, provided conditions are favorable, is to take place in the middle of August of the current year.

As the Party leader pointed out, a discussion concerning changing the party's name "All-Ukrainian Party of Spirituality and Patriotism" has been brought up among the party members. There is an idea to introduce the word "Cossack" into its name. But there are opponents, because people don't yet perceive the Cossack challenges. This fact may turn some away from the party with such a name, like, for example "New Cossack Party of Spirituality and Patriotism".

This issue causes discussions and argues, which has been manifested in speeches of the delegates for the VII APSP congress. The majority voted for remaining the existing name of the party, for example, leaders of the Ivano-Frankovsk, Cherkassy, Kherson regional organizations Vasily Gryn,Nikolai Samoilenko, Valentin Krivonos, Anatoli Zhernovoi - the leader of the Sevastopol city organization. The APSP leader deputy, head of the APSP organization of the Crimean Autonomous Republic Vladimir Karpov has an opposite opinion. He suggests the name of "All-Cossack Party of Spirituality and Patriotism".

The congress has postponed salvation of this problem for the future, because the party has already the name, under which it is known in the society.

The problem of courses of party incomes, which were received from membership dues, but most of all, from successful business, were also discussed at the VII party congress. The necessity of successful business was proved during the previous election campaign. By the fact that the party wasn't financed in the proper way. That was the opinion of the head of the Sevastopol party organization Anatoli Zhernovoi, head of the Chrkassy regional party organization Nikolaisamoilenko, head of the Rovny regional party organization Valeri Tsymbalyuk, The APSP leader deputy, head of the APSP of the Autonomous republic of the Crimea Vladimir Karpov, head of the Lvov regional party organization Vasili Pavlechko, head of the Kharkov regional party organization Mikhail Dubrovski, head of the Odessa regional party organization Evgueni Dovbnya.

The latter also touched the problem of the party membership. Though after the elections the party has become less numerous , the most devoted to the APSP people have remained. This also the opinion of the head of the Donetsk regional party organization Victor Timchenko, who is sure that the time has come to win not only by quantity, but to be guided by qualitative characteristics of those who come to the APSP. These people must be highly spiritual patriots of Ukraine.

A new form of the party membership card will contribute to strengthening its discipline. By the word, these party membership cards were delivered to a group of delegated during the work the congress - the party membership card under the number 1 has been delivered to the APSP leader Anatoli Shevchenko.

The leader informed about the changes in the party Statute; the supreme body of the party is its congress or a party conference. It is only the Political Rada ( Council) who has the right to deprive the party membership, but not party primary organizations, which can only initiate such a dismissal. The Political Rada has all the prerogative to solve this problem. The Rada itself can take such an initiate.

According to resolutions, adopted by the VII APSP congress, the name of the party remains unchanged, some amendments to the APSP Statute have been approved by the congress; new members have been admitted to the Political Rada.

The delegated adopted unanimously the Appeal to the Ukrainian People, in which it is noted, in particular, that "the present stage of creating the Ukrainian state demands that each of us analyzed the processes of regeneration of moral values of the Ukrainian people with a special attention and thoughtfulness and well-ground with the purpose of further development of the independent Ukraine on the highly spiritual foundation. Spirituality and patriotism is the core of every civilized society..."
