Prophets are those saint people, who, being inspired by the Holy Spirit, prophesized, which means, predicted the future, especially, the forthcoming Savior of the world: they prophesized the Will of God, taught people the true faith and righteousness, created various signs and miracles.

Prophet Elijah was one of them. He was the one about whom Hetman Deputy of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks on problems of Religion, the URC Colonel-General, leader of the Center of Religious Investigations and International Spiritual Relations Professor assistant of the DonSIAI Igor Kozlovski told in the radio broadcast “Spiritual Landing Place”.

“Prophet Elijah lived during the most profane tsar Ahab, who worshiped idol Baal ( the Sun) and made the people of Israel to do the same. Elijah came to Ahab on behalf of God’s name and told the tsar “ For your unrighteousness there will be no rain during the following years, nor dew. Only due to my prayer.” And so it happened – a horrible drought began, which lasted for three and a half years. Elijah convinced the people by his deeds in God’s power and people exclaimed all together, “ The Lord is the true God. The Lord is the true God!” Elijah called raion with his prayer by he himself was persecuted. But the Lord didn’t leave him. He comforted him. His appearing for Elijah showed that the Lord was not only a severe judge, punishing, but a merciful, kind Father.

In the broadcast “Spiritual Landing Place” the theologian Igor Kozlovski, by request of the listeners of Donetsk ether, concentrated his attention on the Bible figure as Apostle-equal Maria Magdalene, whom Jesus Christ made equal with his apostles. She was present at the crucifixion of Jesus, she was sitting by His coffin. We can also find out from the New Testament that Maria Magdalene touched Jesus, but he ordered her not to do that. Though in Christian Gnostic text it is told that Jesus kissed Maria Magdalene on lips. Gaining the Lord’s blessing?
