The All-Ukrainian Party of Spirituality and Patriotism was created in November of 2000 and was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on March 30th 2001 ( the certificate of registration № 1610).

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Political Parties in Ukraine" the APSP was re-registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on April 11th 2003.

The party unites more than 12 thousand members. The overwhelming majority of the APSP consists of intelligentsia: educated and scientific elite, businessmen, servicemen of different ranks and students, war veterans, labor veterans and veterans of military service.

On the status on May 1st 2005 the following number of organizations had been registered: 21 regional ones, 240 district organizations, 90 city organizations, more that 800 of private ones.

The most powerful organizations of the APSP are the organizations of the AR of the Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhgie, Kherson, Nikolaev and Odessa regions. Here the APSP has more than a half of its members and cooperates actively with different political forces.
